Email support@dosehalo.com. To help us help you faster, include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and a short description of what you were doing when the problem happened. Never send us your medication list or any medical details. we do not need them and cannot see them.
Troubleshooting
The box is not found
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and that DoseHalo has Bluetooth permission (Settings › DoseHalo).
- Bring your phone within a few feet of the box. Bluetooth range is short.
- Open and close the box once to wake it up, then try scanning again.
- If the box has been idle for a long time, check the battery (see below).
Taking ownership (the long-press)
- If your box was tied to an old or defunct account, you can reclaim it with a physical long-press on the box's button.
- Start the reclaim flow in DoseHalo first, then press and hold the button on the box until the app confirms ownership.
- Keep the box close to your phone during the process so the Bluetooth connection stays steady.
- If it does not take on the first try, wait a few seconds and repeat. the box needs to be awake and in range.
Battery
- A weak battery is the most common cause of a box that will not connect or beep reliably.
- Replace the battery following the instructions that came with your Memo Box, then reopen DoseHalo and reconnect.
- After a battery change, confirm your alarm schedule is still written to the box by checking the schedule screen in the app.
Away mode and false misses
- If you are leaving the box at home, turn on Away mode so DoseHalo pauses reminders and does not record false misses while you are gone.
- When you return and reconnect, the app reads the box's log so your recent history stays accurate.
- If a dose shows as "unsure," it means DoseHalo could not confirm it from the box's record. you can review and adjust it in your history.
